The SR Group Seller Experience

Our Philosophy

We love what we do and we approach every situation with professionalism, expertise, and a deep understanding of our client's needs. We genuinely believe one of the greatest strengths of a real estate professional is their ability to tell their client "No" and we treat our client's funds + assets as we would our own. As REALTORS®, our relationship with our clients is a fiduciary relationship. The fiduciary duties we owe our clients are Accounting, Care, Confidentiality, Disclosure, Loyalty, and Obedience.

  1. 1

    Let's Talk

We’ll sit down to discuss your plans and goals, trends in the current marketplace, and assess your property's qualities and characteristics. We will analyze recent, relevant sales data, assess the competition, work with you to determine pricing strategy, answer any questions about the home selling process, and outline a strategic plan to achieve the best possible result for you as a seller. We'll also complete and execute the seller disclosure documents and required representation paperwork that will be necessary for the transaction.

  2. 2

    Setting The Stage

From applying a fresh coat of paint to rearranging furniture, we will ensure that the property is visually ready for showing. We will schedule a professional photo / video shoot, commission an illustrative floor plan, and prepare a listing narrative.

  3. 3

    Going Live

The listing is broadcast on and sent across our 100+ partner sites for the duration of the selling process.

  1. 4

    Spreading The Word

Our team produces beautiful print collateral to strategically showcase your property. We develop and execute an intelligent, effective paid marketing plan in relevant publications. Eye-catching property signs are produced and placed outside your property.

  2. 5

    Making Connections

We continuously leverage professional contacts and the Compass Network Tool to find ideal buyer brokers. Open houses are hosted for both brokers and clients on an ongoing basis.

  3. 6

    Building A Strategy

We conduct an assessment of the market response within the first 30 days of your listing going live. Feedback from agents and buyers is aggregated, and the listing strategy revised if needed.

  4. 7

We will establish the best method and frequency of communicating as the process unfolds. We will provide you with regular feedback and will keep you updated with continuous traffic metrics and information from the market.

  1. 8

Once we receive an offer, we will contact you to review the terms of the offer and analyze the pros and cons. You will decide how to respond to the buyer in one of several ways; by accepting the offer, rejecting the offer, or making a counter offer

  2. 9

    Escrow Process

Once a contract has been agreed to and signed by all parties, escrow will be opened and the buyer’s option period will begin. Timelines for the completion of buyer and seller responsibilities will be listed in the purchase contract and adhered to in the escrow. We will keep a close eye on the timelines and ensure that you are in compliance with your responsibilities, while also holding the buyer’s side to task to keep the process moving.

  3. 10

We will monitor and coordinate all the details necessary to get you to the finish line. Once the buyer has performed their inspections, removed their contingencies, and the loan (if any) is ready to fund, we will arrange the buyer's final walk-through. We will attend your closing together at the office of the title company. The escrow officer will explain each form you need to sign and will review the numbers on the settlement statement. Closings typically take about an hour and a half on average. When closing is complete and funding has taken place, the keys will be handed over to the buyer.
