Depending on which section you live in, homes for sale in Shady Hollow range from 1,500 to 4,000+ square feet, and many feature open floor plans, fireplaces, and high ceilings. The original areas were constructed in the 1970s, while newer ones were built between the 1990s and mid-2000s.

Shady Hollow is the quieter version of Circle C. Same side of town, older trees, and parks the neighborhood has owned outright since the developer handed them over in 1984, which happened because residents organized over a density dispute six years before that. It draws people who want the space without the master-planned feel, and who would rather have a creek than a lazy river. Oversized lots, and people tend to stay for decades. Baranoff Elementary is on Buckingham Gate just outside the neighborhood. The HOA is mandatory.
